SUMMARY:Noongar Waangkiny (Language) Classes
DESCRIPTION:\nHarvey Aboriginal Corporation, partnering with Bilya Moorditjabiny Training Service and Harvey CRC,  has recommenced Noongar Waangkiny classes. \nHarvey CRC funded the program for three years from 2020, receiving a ConnectGroups grant to run a pilot class in May 2020/21, and a Lotterywest grant funded a further two-year project, which we ran in partnership with Harvey Aboriginal Corporation and Bilya Moorditjabiny Training Service until November last year.\nClasses will be held every Monday night from 5.00 to 7.00pm, in either the CRC community garden undercover area or indoors, depending on the weather. The first class commenced on Monday, 12 February, but it’s not too late to register.\nEmail harveyabcorp.com.au to register.\n
