Back2Basics – Let’s Talk Work
The program consists of 7 modules which address the most important steps related to the job application and interview process and offer participants an opportunity to develop the skills required to successfully apply for and secure employment or to continue their secondary studies.
This program is suited for school leavers, unemployed, long-term unemployed, mature age re-entry into the workforce and participants who are looking for a change in career direction.
Tai Chi
For some gentle exercise followed by a cuppa and morning tea, join the Tai Chi group every Tuesday 9.30am – 11:00am
Gold coin donation appreciated.
Room/Venue Hire
Meeting rooms equipped with air-conditioning and the option of internet access are available for hire.
A whiteboard and video conferencing equipment are also available for use upon request.
Hourly rates apply and bookings are essential.
- Consultation Rooms 1 & 3 – $25 per hour
- Videoconference Room – $35 per hour/$175 per day
Community Garden Undercover Area
- Floor space only – $50 per hour
- Packages to hire additional equipment also available – tables, chairs, whiteboard, laptop, interactive Flatscreen, and outdoor kitchen – please contact our team for more information.

Videoconferencing
Videoconferencing is a modern visual and audio media form available at the Centre allowing interactive conferencing for meetings, interviews, and workshops with individuals or groups over long distances.
Technical Support
- Basic connection to internet – no charge
- Assisted connection/troubleshooting – $15 per 15 min
- Complex connection that needs IT professional assistance – as per calculated charges of professional IT service provider
Community Garden
The garden was established in 2013 and is a place for local residents to meet and share their knowledge, help connect people of different cultures, while also providing a venue for community groups, workshops and arts projects.
The shared garden is a place for people of all ages, employing organic principles, combining native plants, fruit trees, herbs and seasonal vegetables together.
The garden aims:
- To foster a sense of community
- To provide food for those in need
- To encourage youth, adult and environmental education
- To provide people who do not have a garden with an opportunity to participate in gardening
